Hi kzoo, Muskegon here. Hit my four month last 29th. How r u?

  • I'm from the Lansing area & just starting. I have my first meeting tonight but am already convinced the sleeve is for me.

  • See if you can join the support group with Dr. Gluck's practice- Life without Limits. They are awesome!

If you find any please let me know. I was sleeved 2 weeks ago and the only Michigan support group I could find was Michigan people going to Mexico for surgery. What part of Michigan are you from?

I would love to join a support group. I am just across the border in Windsor and was sleeved on the 10th. Maybe we can set something up once a month.

Sounds good...maybe we should start one once we are a little farther out.....i was sleeved a week ago today. Doing good..on full liguids. i am from metro detroit area...Sterling Hgts area....

I think any time is good. I think sharing ideas and challenges will only help us be successful in the long run. Your location sounds close. Sounds like you are doing great for only one week out. I was sleeved on the 10th and started full liquids yesterday, it was very hard to get down one shake. Today seems a litlle better but full very fast. Post when you are ready to meet.

As I said just getting going here. Have my first consult Thursday and don't know what expect. Have had three conversations with insurance companies and got three totally different responses when asked if it is covered. So....let the games begin!!

I have psychological appt this week and getting all the necessary paperwork around.

But still working toward the goal.

Hi Fellow Michiganders! I am also from the Sterling Hts area. Would love to be part of a group.

Anyone used Blue Care Network or M premiere care? What was the approval process like? How long did it take? I am awaiting approval.

Sleeved in Muskegon with Dr Gluck but live in Jackson

Had to do self pay to get the sleeve. They would not pay for it as I have blue cross Medicare managed care and was 65 at the time!! Also had gall bladder out and hiatal hernia repaired so they paid more than I thought. Sleeved 11/12 and down 37 pounds
