  3. The binder was the best thing ever! My surgeon sends us all home with one. I wore it for two weeks. It helps make your core strong to sit up and move. Plus keeps it tight while you cough Beats holding a pillow there. Plus you can clip your drain tube to it while you have it in. Also a lanyard to clip the drain tube while you shower. Good luck to all!
  4. Thanks all who responded. At least I know it's not just me! Lol. I will just continue to hydrate and wait for the cool weather!
  5. Does anyone else have problems with their bodies regulating the heat outdoors after surgery? Even with the 64oz of water and sunscreen, I will over heat, everything in my stomach turns bad and I end up sick all day. I was never like this before. I am 13 wks out. Just wondering if anyone Has gone through the same thing.
  6. I was told by my PCP that the only kind of oral bc that I could use was jolivette the mini pill because it doesn't contain estrogen. The surgeon ok'd it but reading your posts makes me wonder if it's effective. Is anyone else on it?
  7. I too had many weeks of liquids. Stick to your doctors plan. You have come this far! You can do it! Congrats on the weight loss!
  8. I had this exact same problem. The smell of the protein makes me nauseated. A week after surgery and I could no longer tolerate it. I have bought so many in between time. I finally just last week found HMR products. They sell them at my fitness center. A little pricey but I don't smell or taste the protein. It has helped so much! Because I was not getting the protein in, my weight was not coming off. Good luck! I really feel for u. Let me know if you find anything also.
  9. May29th sleeved in Muskegon. 9 wks out 226 to 183. Down 43 lbs and feeling great! I too had minimal pain. Good luck to you!
  10. Thank you ladies for the help! I will try the unflavored protein mix. I am taking Fusion vits. Everything in one. Berry flavor. I have tried other flavors but I think it is the texture. I don't know why it's making feel so sick. I was fine with the drinks and vits before surgery. Again thank you!
  11. My surgery was on may 29. A week after I came home, I was nauseated by the smell of my protein drinks and chewing my vit. I have tried to get this back in but I end up taking a nausea pill it gets so bad. Anyone have ideas of how I can get all my protein and vit in? I am almost 8 wks out. I can eat about 4 meals a day with 4 bites of food of its solid and a few more if it soup based but I am not even coming close to 60g of protein. Please help:(
