My first post here (woo virgin!). I was sleeved on Thursday 6th Sept so only 4 days post op. I'm concerned about my hunger and need some advice please!
My surgeon says if I can pick it up with a fork, I can't eat it (read: mushy, puréed food and nourishing liquids only) So, I went to town buying jelly, Soup, baby custard, yoghurt etc. plus stocking up on Optifastshakes. Determined to do this right.
Will someone PLEASE tell me why I'm still so hungry? I am eating the recommended amount of the recommended things and I'm so hungry. If I DO eat more than I am told I should, I don't vomit, get dumping or reflux. I am so worried I'm going to stretch already. Everyone else says they don't even feel like food and have to force themselves to eat. I could eat anything (even the chicken pie family had for tea...!)
