  • I am still pre op as well, but I'm already winging myself off soda because this surgery is too much to go through only to have your new stomach enlarged again. Not worth it to me.

I drink 2-3 Seltzer waters a day and at least 2-5 sodas per week. Sometimes diet, sometimes regular. No problems here, maintaining weight loss with ease

I drink slurpees every now and then it kills my cravings for soda and I'm doing fine :)

I wouldn't touch it, it's a trigger food for me!

7-up is what got me here, so I am staying clear of all sodas. But i have to say, 7-up is the only thing I've craved since starting this whole process (pre-op & up to now.).

Was soda a problem for you before your surgery? I can easily see me becoming addicted to it again, so I just need to stay away from it. :). We all had our comfort foods, and that sure was mine!

Is that ice cubes from Sonic? Is it flavored?

2013 is my year....SD 12/3/12 BK NY

Just unflavored ice - people really like their ice I guess!

Just Ice! I have a hard time drinking more than am ounce or so- and the ice balls there are small- and I love to crunch on them. No flavor needed, just hydration and crunch! :)

The ice at sonic is amazing. The closest thing it can be compared to is hospital ice. The best kind for chewing!
