Take miralax everyday it works wonders!

Ducolax is a great stool softener . if your looking for quick relief , Ive tried Senna tea which produced a BM in hours. Try to stay away from harsh laxatives because they can potentially dehydrate you.

I take colace daily. It helps but with the amounts of food currently being eaten, there is no way my "habits" could be as they were pre-op.

Im 2 months out and lucky to have small B M once a week. Have had to use enamas last two weeks. :(

I was using a stool softener, but my doc said that was treating the symptom, not fixing the problem. He said I needed to get more Fiber and things would start moving. Started taking fiber advance tummies (makes me feel like I get candy!) and now, I'm moving fairly regular, without 'pushing'.

Good luck

That is a very good point. Just check out the Fiber Advance website...may need to grab some of those.
