I saw you have a son that wants to play sports at the College level, I have 2 boys, both have graduated from college now and both played college football....i miss those tailgaiting/game days! had a great time! I'm 13 days post op and I'm struggling to get my protein in now, I can do Unjury CHicken Soup and thats about it....I have tried several types of protein powder and I'm getting nauseated trying to drink them. The RTD Premiere CHoclate is ok but my taste for chocolate has diminished. Would anyone suggest the Isopure Zero Carb protein from GNC? I know im going to the next level of food after Tuesday (not sure what i will eat during mushy stage) but I still need to find a protein drink.
  6. I have been craving a dill pickle for 2 days now! No not preggo just want a pickle and I'm only 2 weeks out! Ugh!!! Idk how to overcome this craving either!
  7. I'm 8 days out and trust me it gets better, I was having a very hard time with fliuds or getting anything down! I sipped, walked, and sipped.....i slept alot too, still napping during the day but when you hear that each day is better it really is and I was able to drink more each day too...hang in there! Your on your way now to a better life!
  8. I'm heading to GNC this morning, need to get some walking in so the mall is a great place to do that....anything i should look for while im there??? any cant live without items? what about recommendations for protein powder?
  9. I also had surgery on August 6th and came home yesterday, feeling better each day! Stomach is very sore and I'm sipping ,resting and walking as much as i can......lots of gas pains in the chest area...ready to get on with this journey!

I just had surgery on Monday, the first day was rough but the nurses are great and the meds are there to help you though the pain....day 3 here and im home and feeling much better....im walking all over the place now, thinking about going to do a little shopping tomorrow but taking it slow......you can do it....im a very nervous person and worry about everything too but i was fine and you will be too....relax relax relax!
  11. I had surgery Monday, I'm not getting in a lot of liquids and i sleep a lot, i feel very fatigued and everyone i have ask says this is normal.....hang in there....we will feel better soon!

I don't know about you but I'm soooo excited.....we just got off the boat i as i was walking to the house i keep thinking about how much better im going to feel and look in a cute bathing suit instead of this ugly one peice i have on today...lol......i wish you the best of luck and prayers are with you for a speedy recovery! My NUT was suppose to give me enough food to last until Sunday, I have 1/2 day of food left, I have been on an 800 calorie diet that i have followed faithfully...the food was purchased from my Surgeons office.....im 3 hours away so now what do i eat....Surgery is Monday! Its a high protein, low carb, low sugar, high fiber diet and no protein drinks included...
  16. wow approved today and sleeved tomorrow? how long was your process? i started mine in March and finally being sleeved Monday....and i didnt have a weight program for 6 months either, it just took that long to get all my paperwork and different appointments done...
  17. cant wait to start this new life.....its been H*** the last week and 1/2, im on vacation and on this pre op diet....would love some steak and shrimp on the grill...haha! but so ready to rock this new sleeve we are getting....~

  22. I hear ya! It sucks!! haha! Is yours a liquid diet? Mine is prepared food that is from the Nutritionist office and its plain AWFUL, I cant eat anything else but their plan! to make matters worse we are on vacation this week at the lake house and damn im dying to grill steak and shrimp! Besides all the fresh fruits, melons and vegatables out now....why didnt i do this in the dead of winter here in MICHIGAN when is boring.....haha! Mary
