Hi! New to this site....but been studying for months. Really ready and excited to start this journey. My Dr has his next "class" Sept 20....and I can't wait. I have already called insurance to find out everything I need to do to get approved!!! Can you tell my mind is already made up? Was just wondering if anyone could tell me how lk g it really takes from your first visit or info session to the actual surgery???

I had my first consultation May 24th and I got my approval on June 21st. Surgery was scheduled for July 17th but had to postpone it to August 28 (hubby lost his job and had to wait for cobra paperwork) So basically 2 months for me..

it may have been rescheduled for wed instead of today but important thing is its happening and u are 1day away from starting a healthier life yayyy so happy for u

Try marching in place for a few minutes every couple of hours. I didn't feel well enough to leave the house to go for a walk, so I did this instead. The gas pain is almost all gone. I was sleeved on Tuesday too. Good Luck!
