My Date Is 9/7/12 I Need A Support Team Help!

Today was my first day of my protein shakes, it was hard, but I did it, I started with muscle milk, 20g of protein and 3g of sugar, what do you guys think, should I stay with it or change? I also had a jello sugar free of course.

Give yourself a few options - it doesn't have to be all one or the other. I love the vanilla Eas 100% whey powder, because I don't like the strongly flavored ones much. I tried a few of the Syntrax Nectar flavors and they were really overpowering. If you don't like the muscle milk, by all means stop it and switch to another type, unless your doctor wanted you to have this specific one (Though it seems like most give you plenty of choices). I have some muscle milk but so far have not really enjoyed it.

I'm told the Unjury is fantastic. They have a sampler pack too that comes with two packets of each flavor, a food thermometer nd mixing bottle.

Walmart has muscle milk

So you only have to do 10days on liquid?

I use the muscle milk light... chocolate.. love it! They sell it at Costco and BJs, if you have one near by. I drink 3 of them a day to make sure I get my protein in. I was told you should get 60-70 g of protein per day. I have been able to eat chicken and turkey too. Im 3 weeks out of surgery. I have "stalled" with my weight loss, but from what I have read, its normal. Dont be discouraged. After the surgery, all you will want to drink is liquids anyway. Just listen to your body. After about 4 days after my surgery I was ok'd for soft foods, like sugar free pudding, creamy soups... it good to ease back into the eating world! Good luck to all of you on your surgery! Its a journey... to say the least!!!
