  1. I use the muscle milk light... chocolate.. love it! They sell it at Costco and BJs, if you have one near by. I drink 3 of them a day to make sure I get my protein in. I was told you should get 60-70 g of protein per day. I have been able to eat chicken and turkey too. Im 3 weeks out of surgery. I have "stalled" with my weight loss, but from what I have read, its normal. Dont be discouraged. After the surgery, all you will want to drink is liquids anyway. Just listen to your body. After about 4 days after my surgery I was ok'd for soft foods, like sugar free pudding, creamy soups... it good to ease back into the eating world! Good luck to all of you on your surgery! Its a journey... to say the least!!!
  2. Ohhh so that is what it is! A stall! I was starting to get very discouraged... now I feel better. I had the surgery Aug. 1st and lost 21 lbs so far (3 weeks in). It so frustrating! I have been watching what Im eating, and walking regularly! Hopefully it will start up again. I do have to say that I have been losing inches though! I measure myself once a week and keep track of my progress. If anything, this is what has helped me through this stall period!!
