just make sure that you are not feeling "head hunger" and yes you will feel full when you go to puree foods. when I fist started out I was full from 1/4c of carrots.

You will definitely feel full when you start eating food. You will be surprised how quickly you get full.

If you are drinking protein shakes, try thickening them up with crushed ice to make them more like a smoothie. Or if you are allowed yogurt, then add it to your shakes. If you make them too runny, they will run right through you and not keep you full for long. Once you get to pureed phase, you will be shocked with how little you can eat before you are full! Hang in there!

Yup, don't worry, once you are on soft foods, you won't be able to eat much!

I know my "full" isn't anything like it was before surgery. Before, say at Thanksgiving, my "full meter" would be feeling stuffed, now my sign is being very uncomfortable. I try to avoid feeling full at all costs. Maybe your "full meter" is adjusting? And everyone is right, thicken up those shakes and when you start on foods you'll definitely feel fuller. Good Luck!
