Surgey Scheduled For Sept. 13

Getting really nervous. Been big my whole life and don't know what to expect. I'm 385lbs now. I'm really worried about muscle loss. Anyone have any advice?

I'm having mine done on the 4th. So we'll all get thru Sept. together.

  • yes. Make sure you're exercising. Walk and do some weight training. Drink your protein shakes. Try not to have any carbs and just eat protein and veggies. That will help with the muscle mass.

Sorry I don't have any advise for you. I do want to share that we will be sharing the same surgery date.

I'm having mine done at Kaiser South San Francisco. How about you?

My friend had hers done there. At Cedar Sinae..

From what I understand (not sleeved yet), you need to get walking ASAP and you need to get your protein in as soon as your cleared. All doctors are different in their programs and expectations. Let us all know how you are doing!!
