Chewing Gum

Why aren't we allowed to chew gum? I have been chewing it still on the odd occasion and not feel any different?

I read a couple different posts on that. I think one this is it causes air/gas the second is it is supposed to be dangerous to swallow in your sleeve

I was tolf by my foctor to not chew gum because gum suppresses our appetite and right now we have to learn how are new stomach feels. Hope that helps somewhat

I am almost 4 months out and I chew gum A LOT! No issues at all...
