Cant wait for my jorney to start. so im here in H&M watchin my mom n sis shop and it kills me inside. I love all the clothes but they dont carry big sizes kills us "fat" people. Thats one of my motivations lookin good to feel good. Cant even enjoy shopping... ((

I think the H&M around here has plus size. So does Forever 21. Check online.

My daughter bought this really cute top, size XS (I can't hate her, she is my daughter) I was never a small, much less XS. Anyway I mentioned how much I liked it and now that I am going to have the surgery, I am too old to wear something like that. Today in the mail, one came for me in a Large ( my daughter got me one ). A large! Seems like I always wore a 2X. What an incentive!!

Wow thats so sweet of her to do dat. She is showing u that she believes u can do it. And who knows a year from ur surgery date u might tell me that large was to big. Lol last thing never say u old ur as young as u feel.

It does seem like clothing manufacturers think all plus sized gals are shaped like a little fat box. Boxy shirts with short waists in ugly patterns. I gave up on stores. Started to retreat and shop out of catalogs but those are even uglier in some cases!

One place that has trendy and pretty cute clothes in 'extended' sizes is Torrid. It's an off shoot of Hot Topic. And they have really cute unmentionables that are cotton!

One trend Ive seen is that The plus sized stores are moving out of the malls and into strip malls. Almost an effort to get us out. Well,'it's my conspiracy theory and one day I will return to the mall and see how it's changed over the years!

We'll all get there. We have the drive and desire. One day I hope we can all let out a victory cry as we try on a size long forgotten only to find it is once again OUR size.
