Drinking Slowly

It is so hard to drink slowly. I'm wondering how everyone else is fairing with this? How long do we have to drink slowly?

I am two months out and while I cannot chug anything, I do not drink as slow as I had to when I first started. I cannot drink a protein shake quickly because they are filling, but I can drink 8 oz of water in a fairly short amount of time.

at my 2 week post op appt I asked my surgeon the same thing, he told me let your body be the guide. I felt much better when I could drink a little faster w/out discomfort. good luck.

at an early point, i was able to drink Water quickly no problem

per my NUT, i could start gulping my H20 - as soon as i felt i was ok

we're all different though, remember ;)
