I don't think salad comes until 8 weeks out. Hang in there. I'm also waiting.

With all of the protein and fluids I need to get in, I don't have room for anything more than one bite of a salad and I am three months out.

I miss salads do bad!!! Im on week 5

My NUT says I can have as much salad as I want ... in fact, I'm about a week overdue to give it a shot. However ................ I am scared of salad!!! I know, I know, WTF! When on earth was a person ever scared of salad?! I'm just so used to babying my new sleeve (6 weeks post op today) that I'm afraid to try real solid foods. I will probably give it a shot this weekend though -- my body is screaming for salad.

I'm 6 weeks post op and have had some salad, but not much. As one poster said, there's not very much room. Both times I ate the chicken and cheese off and had a couple bites of lettuce. I didn't have any problems, but my NUT advanced my diet more quickly than most I see here.

You can have salad as long as you're getting in your protein and water for the day. I've had a few salads, they filled me up real fast so don't eat much the first time.

im able to eat salads 6weeks post op
