Slimfast Pre Op?

Have dr David Kim as my dr and I'm on my 2 week liquid diet. I can't call them right now, but I've forgotten my bariessential shake mix at home. I won't be able to get there during the work day. Could I get a low carb slim fast for lunch?

Hi ashleigh14

This is one time you have forgot this shake - if you take the slimfast or whatever - i'm sure it will be ok

you'll be fine, don't worry

I don't think that should be a problem....

Try to find a shake that has only 5g of sugar, 5g of fat and is 200 calories or less. You also can have sugar free jello, applesauce, and broth. Fill up on water. You will do fine.

My surgeon told me Slim Fast was ok pre-op as long as it was the High Protein version. I'm allowed 2 a day in conjunction with other liquids!

Good luck!
