Hi all. My name is Tia and I have been lurking on this site forever. I used this site to make a decision about the sleeve. I made the decision at the beginning of the year and now I think I am close to having the surgery. I have 1 more MSWl appt at the end of this month and I do all my pre op testing this month. I am a little nervous about the whole thing, but I keep thinking about what a better quality of life I will have in the end.

So many of you have inspired me and assurred me I am making the right decison.

Welcome to no longer lurking - so glad you would post to introduce yourself. Best advice besides reading all you can is jump in often. Also join one of the groups in your local area so you can find other sleevers in Phoenix area.

I lurked around for a while too. My mind was pretty made up by the time I registered and made my first post. Then things went really fast! My surgery is next week!
