When you add your meals to mfp, do you include your vitamins? Just curious.

5 Weeks Post Op And Eating Issues Food Stuck Need Advice!
I had my first experience with this today. I was eating chicken for lunch and I think I didn't chew well enough and ate too fast. Not only did I get the stuck feeling, but I also threw up slime. That one experience was enough to make me slow down and be more thorough with my chewing. It totally sucked and was a little scary.

Sell Whatever You Have To Sell And Buy A Vitamix!
I am on solid food and still use mine for making Protein shakes when I want to make a thicker, frothier shake. I use it for marinades, hummus, etc.

I love Fage plain. It has the best texture. Chobani is a close second.

Purees
I had my 2 week post op today and am officially on purees. Hooray for something like real food. I ate some egg salad and it felt kinda weird. I can certainly see why it is important to really eat slowly. No problems day 1!!!

Post Op Octosleevers 2012. Welcome To The Losers Bench!
For a couple days I had a super sharp pain that was making it a little hard to breathe. I went to the ER and turns out my spleen is bruised and my diaphragm keeps hitting it. Nothing serious, just good to know what the pain is.

What Is This Pain In My Shoulder/neck?
I am only 4 days out but i get this pain in my side. I think it's from the horrible vomitting on day 2 after my upper Gi. I think it is more sore muscles than anything else.

Phoenix, Az Sleevers
HI all. I'm doing pretty good. No real issues to speak of. TOday I have a slight headache, but I think it;s sinuses. Surgery went very well. No pain from incisions. ALl pain from gass and air bubbles from drinking too much/too fast. Walked a lot, helps, but sipping is harder than it sounds. I was released before11 am Wednesday and saw DR P everyday. I had great care and have regrets.

Home Finally
I am an official sleever. I spent 48 hours in the hospital. My incisions don't bother me at all. It is the gas and the air from drinking that is killing me. No regrets so far.

Tomorrow's The Big Day.
Hi. I had a boat load of blood tests, an upper GI, chest xray, stress test, EKG, ultrasound on my legs, and the psych Eval. I had a 6 month weight loss requirement. Admittedly, I didn't take that too seriously and ended up getting approved for surgery but then the surgeon wouldn't do it because my Diabetes was way out of control. I took 2 months and worked hard and realized how important each phase of this journey is. I got my numbers down and now I am ready to go. I made a lot of the changes we will be required post op already. I also saw a therapist for 2 months to really work on understanding my relationship with food.
