Hiccups are my body telling me I ate too fast.

The boyfriend always laughs when I start hiccuping cause its a sure sign im done.

They never last long though. :)

Oh I HATE those! I had those in the hospital right after surgery!!!!! Agggggg...no feel good!

When I get the hiccups, it is a sure sign that I have eaten too fast, not chewed well enough and it will all be coming right back up soon. Never have done that with potatoes though. The are sliders for me. This usually happens when I don't pay attention when I am eating, like working through lunch or watching TV. I always have to pay attention to how fast I am eating. Good luck, Kathe

My doc gave me some lil tablets that I put under my tongue to dissolve when I get hiccups. He said hiccups are a sign to slow down. The pills are to stop the esophageal spasms (hiccups).

keepin it real ;)

I got my hiccups in the hospital as I was recovering from both the sleeve and a huge hiatel hernia repair...boy that wasn't fun at all...
