It has been 2 months since surgery. I have lost 50 lbs and have been walking and just started running on the treadmill for about 3 miles 3 days a week. Any other ideas?

The exercise bike has done WONDERS for my legs! I'm actually willing to show mine off fairly regularly now. :)

That's amazing! I can't wait to have the stamina to workout like that. Maybe try some weight training too? Sparkpeople has free videos you can work out with. Building muscle mass will also help with sagging skin. Keep up the great work!

Butterbean, You WILL have the stamina! Believe me, I was a poster child for not doing anything, or being able to do anything, pre-op. I've said it before, but I couldn't walk from my front door to my car pre-op. I started really slow and I've been adding in a little here and there to get to this point. I'm not a super-exerciser, just working hard to get to goal. :)

your right on track i am also two month op n have lost around 50.. i run like hell lol.. helps with stomach n lower fat.. legs n thighs.. also lounges with weights help too. n lots of squats ! Jillian michels has some great videos on youtube

my suggestion is to take the stairs where ever you go, and do it slow and easy, not fast. my legs are the one thing on my body that I am so happy about. I do kickboxing too, but that isnt for everyone. good luck!
