Not sure what you are trying to say. I hope you are drinking more that 8 oz a day, did you mean 8 oz at a time?

Your doctor only wants you drinking a cup of water a day? I'm supposed to drink 48-64 oz. a day.

Are you sure it wasn't 8 8oz cups a day? You have to be drinking a lot more than just one or even two cups a day.

O ok then I am on track. Love my surgeon but he didn't give me nearly as much materials as I should have post op. I'm kinda side barring off other ppl

I am one week post op as well and I am definitely able to get 48-64 ozs in. At first I was having a hard time getting 3-4ozs at a time but each day has gotten better. I can do more than just "sip" too.... There is some miscommunication on your liquid intake cause 8ozs a day is definitely not enough!! How much are you getting in when you add everything together?? You should be getting at least 30g's of protein in as well.

I see where the mis communication is coming. I am drinking 8fl oz or more. When I add everything in ( tea and what not) I'm drinking about 5 glasses of fluid. I called my surgeons office and they said they forgot to give it to me and ill have the break downs when I go in tomorrow for my appt
