I was reading the other day and I saw for the ka-zillionth time or so where some well meaning newbie jumped into a lively discussion to ask the question. You know the one... "What is a PB?"

Hijacking never bothers me.. I mentioned it b/c it's something people dislike *pet peaves*

Especially in bony areas. Tattoo's can feel like a cat scratching you a thousand times in the same spot. I should know. When I hit goal, I'm headed to Miami Ink to get a huge one on my waist.

I have a couple of other ones and nothing in the world has ever hurt me as much as this one did. Not surgery not nothin'!

Can I join this "conversation?" I have no tats, but have decided that is how I'm going to reward myself for weight loss. I'm not banded yet, but am scheduled. I've decided that for each 50 lbs. lost I'm getting a little heart on my ankle. In different colors---one for me and then let my husband and kids pick out the other colors. Hopefully there'll be 4 and I'll eventually have them connected kinda like an ankle bracelet. My 16 yr. old son wants a tat really bad but I told him it depends on his grades! Gotta be a reward.

Thanks! I forgot to say that I've already lost 20 lbs so maybe I'll have one sooner than I thought! Also, I'm hoping to get 4---one for myself, my husband and my 2 sons. Because I'm doing this for all of us so that we have many more years together. I figure a permanent reminder can only help, right?
