Thank You

Good morning all. My name is Star and I joined the site a couple of days ago. I have been quietly soaking in all the information that I can for my journey ahead. On Wednesday, 4/18, I will be sleeved. I am so nervous, but a lot of the posts on here have helped ease my nerves... Just a tiny bit lol. I am 29 and have been big my WHOLE life. So to think with the help of this tool I am about to receive, I will be able to finally get my body closer to where I want it. I think we have all felt that we are thin people trapped in a large body at least at one point or another. So I just wanted to thank you all for posting your knowledge and experiences so that people like me (scared out of my brain) can get a better understanding as to what might happen to someone who is about to go through it. Thank you again.

Kisses,

*Star*

Your very welcome. . that's what we're here for actually. . . lol. . . this is going to be a big change but just remember, no matter how "ready" you think you are, it's still going to be "different" Each of us is unique and different, so each of us have had different experiences with the surgery. . . your "scared out of your brain" thing is normal, that I believe everyone has experienced. . . but you'll do ok. . . just remember to get up and walk! Very important and also sip, sip, sip, . . you won't feel like it, but if your dehydrated, well then there is another problem. . . .good luck you'll do great and keep us posted!

CONGRATS! This is one of the most difficult and scariest thing you will ever do most likely. It is so life changing physically and mentally. This is a great place to come for support and feedback from others who have the same experiences as you (sleeve). Please keep up informed of your progress. SO excited for you and your journey. You will Rock your Sleeve! ;)

Welcome to the group, Star. I hope your journey is rewarding and ultimately fulfilling. Let us know how everything goes too. We are here for you.

Best thing I ever did! Everyone has a little fear, but it is so worth it! Good luck Star & keep us posted on your progress. ;)
