Today I am 3 days out and have kept my liquids down no problems however, today I have a pretty bad headache that seems to come and go. And advice? Anyone else?

Were you a big coffee/tea/soda drinker bedore? Probably caffeine withdrawl

I am 4 days out and I kind of have headaches too. I am in the Houston area, and I think it is related to the weather. My doc allowed me to resume using Flonase. Do you have those problems in San Antonio? It's a little drier there, but nonetheless there have been clouds moving in and out all week.

I agree with Lilee! If you're are getting your fluids in and headaches come and go, it could very well be the cafeine withdrawal. I hope you feel better soon! Mostly I wanted to congratulate you and send you well wishes!!!! Welcome to the losers bench! :-)

I totally forgot that I wouldn't be able to have caffeine after surgery and I'm sure my headaches afterward were because of that. If I'd thought about it, I would have tapered it off instead of going cold turkey. Ouch!!

The good thing is, although I have an occasional cup of coffee or latte, I can take it or leave it now and I like that.

Caffeine is a powerful drug and I'd prefer not to have it in my body most of the time.

Onward,

CC
