Thank Goodness you weren't eating cookies! That was totally a nightmare, cheating on your new lifestyle in your dreams...... LOL ;)

I did break the other day after 9 weeks post op and bought a 4 pack of the soft batch choc chip cookie. I did not even look at the calories. I ate 1 single cookie 4 days in a row to get my craving to go away. Now that they are gone I am fine. I certainly would not buy a large package or Oreo's as I know they would be calling my name from the kitchen at night when I was trying to sleep.

after my surgery i had dreams about gravy. Every day for a week or so. And the weird thing is, besides my moms gravy at holidays i never ate gravy. I have a cookie on occassion. I never keep them in the house, i had an oreo and the chocolate turned my stomach. i do enjoy a graham cracker or animal cracker once in awhile, and they arent nearly as bad so i dont feel guilty.

i had the flu for a week and lost 9 pounds. For the 2 days afterwards i ate the most food i have eaten since my surgery. I had a whole pack of animal crackers. You know, the ones that comes in that cute box that looks like a zoo lol. and they were DELICIOUS!!! Dont sweat a cookie or two. We have to live as normally as we can, and who doesnt have a cookie once in awhile.

Better to cheat in your dreams than in reality. But seriously, a cookie or two a week is not going to injure us. So dream away and indulge occassionaly. But keep track of how often you indulge.

I remember having these bizarre binging nightmares for like the first 4 weeks after my sleeve! So weird!

That said, apricot Cookies sound intriguing. Might have to make some - with Splenda, naturally1
