Karma is exacting her revenge on me for laughing at my nephew and his food poisoning last night. I've been on the toilet every 30mins with a bowl in my lap. It's bad. What can I drink instead of gingerale? I'm dyin here!

I may get my head chomped for this, but maybe diet ginger ale that you let go flat? No calories and no bubbles. I have a friend that had the bypass and that is how she gets through an upset tummy.

Best of luck to you.

Stash Tea Company makes a wonderful Lemon-Ginger herbal tea that I buy at the grocery store. Maybe try that?

Just boil the fresh ginger and make a great tasting tea. Use about 2 inches of ginger, smash with hammer or hard tool, I always insert it in a plastic bag or sack before smashing it. I then put it in my teapot or saucepan and boil for 5-10 min. I then add a little milk and or 1/2 teaspoon of sugar for flavor.

I drank a lemon-ginger tea as well as gingerale- You can get the little cans and open 1 up- about an hour or 2 later when it's flat drink it- the carbonation will be minimal if at all.

actually not a bad idea.

some baking soda in warm Water or even some ginger root boiled in green tea. Even candied ginger boiled in water. A little sugar especially when you're ill isn't going to hurt you.

Peppermint tea is great for upset stomachs.
