30 Pounds Gone

Hello All,

I haven't posted on here in a while. I am 5 weeks post-op today and as of my weigh in this morning, I am 30 pounds down since day of surgery. I am amazed. This journey has been filled with ups and downs (more ups than downs tho). I am happy with things so far. It is a challenge doing everything right, but I will get it in time. Please be encouraged. If things aren't going so great for you or if you are having complications, remember that everything takes time and it will get better.

Yay for both of you!!! Isn't it great to know that you are getting healthier, lighter, and even better looking than you were before!! Don't forget to take your progress pics, even if you don't show them. You'll "see" the weight coming off you better in pictures than in the mirror!

Congrats! You are a BIG LOSER! LOL This is where I like being. It gets even better than this. Like Lissa said, take pics alont the way so you can look back and see the difference. ;)

Way to go. I was sleeved 1/11/2012 and am 17 down since sugery and 30 down since the start of the pre-op diet. To me it's been mostly up. I feel better than I have in years and I get a mini vacation to top it off.

Congratulations! I'm 2 weeks post op and almost 12 lbs down since surgery. Glad to be headed in the other direction with my weight. Would love to be at the 30 lb mark like you in 3 more weeks.. that is a great loss!

WOOOHOO - that is so great! Congrats I was sleeved on 12/14 and am down 25 pounds.. Some days I will be down more then it comes back so it's kind of confusing ... I know "they" say don't weigh everyday but it is so hard at this point not to. Let me know your progess and I will let you know mine!!! 2012 is going to be our year to SHINE!!!!

You're doing a great job! Those first several weeks can be a real struggle, but from here on out it just gets easier every day. Before you know it you'll realize that you can't really remember life without the sleeve!

Great work so far. Don't get too discouraged by the bumps in the road. It's a long journey but SO worth the time and effort.
