I have always LOVED the photos of people standing in one pant leg of their "fat pants". I never thought I would be able to do this... but tonight for fun I got the pants out (I can't find my 22s, so I used my 20s) Here goes!

I took my measurements at two weeks after surgery... and from then till now I have lost 11 inches off my waist, 7" off my butt and 5" off each thigh.

Here is also a photo of my 20s under my 13s. I still have 10 pounds to go, so maybe I will take photos then too.... I LOVE fat pant photos!post-41446-13813668788255_thumb.jpg post-41446-13813668788997_thumb.jpg

How about you?

Thanks girlie! I must have given my 22s away... I do have big bones. I did one of the tests where you measure the bones in your elbow and I was in the "large" catagory. I have never been 125 in my adult life... I would def look like a bone rack... Im 5'9" and at my skinniest (I thought I was fat, but that shows how screwed up my head was then) I was 145 and wore an 11 (30 yrs ago). I am size 13 now and 30 pounds heaver...but in better shape. Whatever! I'n not going to let the numbers push me around, It all good and getting better!

Love these photos!!! and I have to say YOU LOOK GREAT!!!!!!! Posts like yours keep me motivated and remind me I can get there too. Congratulations! You have really made this tool work for you. BTW, in my excitement I recently got rid of a bunch of clothes including all my large pants! Now I wish I had kept one. I do have a huge top however. It's the one I was wearing in "the photo" that made me see that I had to do something significant and get this weight issue under control. I will be sure to save it and do some before and after with it when I get to goal. Like sleeve above said, my top is more of tent than a top :-) so I will have to be creative as to how I do the before and after! Thanks again for the great post!

So much FUN to see these photos! I'm glad you posted. I have one pair of exercise pants that I wore at my heaviest but they were kind of stretchy so I don't think it will illustrate the difference as well as yours do. You're looking amazing!!! Way to go!

Its almost worth going to the thrift store and getting a pair your old size! I will have to look around and see if I have a before pic of myself wearing these same pants....

Thanks Ladies!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
