Personal questionfor the ladies

I hope this isn't too personal. My surgery is scheduled for 9/20 and I just realized I will/should be on day 2 of my period on 9/20. Question, do you think my surgery will be postponed because of this?

Nope. It doesn't matter to your surgeon. Probably make you wear a pad instead of a tampon, though, but that's okay because after surgery getting a tampon in and out would hurt (the bending over, you know).

Actually started the morning of my surgery, not a problem they give you gigantic pads, and some lovely undies...........good luck.

no it won't be a problem... i woke up with a foley catheter however and was glad i didn't have to deal with my period and that ... goood luck... let us know how u do!!!

they don't care. they see it all the time. they do say no tampon's tho. they will give you throw away granny panties and HUGE pads to wear!! LOL

thankfully, i stopped 2 days b4 my surgery!!

Kelly

Thanks, Ladies! I was so worried that perhaps my surgery would be postponed. Onward and upward :D

You mean DOWNWARD...on the scale that is! Hehe. You will be just fine. Good luck! I am right behind you on 9/28.

Ducker

I was really worried about this as well. I *know* that it won't matter, but I am super modest and it was horrifying to me to think that I would have it at the same time as my surgery... but luckily I got it early :) My surgery is in a week (exactly!) so I know I'm good!
