I just took 2 tylenol for a headache, not even thinking about it. Its not capsules, it's tablets. Is this okay? I realized the second I swallowed it that I didn't know if I could have it, but it was too late. I feel fine, but I was just wondering if anyone had been told differently.

You should be fine. You want to avoid ibuprofin and asprin, but acetaminophen (tylenol) is fine for sleevers.

My surgeon said I could have tylenol and gave me no restriction ..

Tylenol is fine. I was told to buy the tablets instead of the capsules.. Just stay away from anything with aprin in it. That's the no no med after surgery..

My doctor said acetaminophen (Tylenol) is fine. I cannot have Advil or Alieve 1 month before or for 6 months after surgery, though.

Aspirin,

my surgeon put me on 81mg aspirin daily for bp and blood thinning.

no problems.
