  2. That is very interesting, and I am going to try and up my fluid intake as well, Its been a year since my surgery and I have lost about 65 pounds and have definatly been stalled sinced the holidays.. and its been very depressing... my goal is stop feeling down and do something about it and up my exercise and fluids and keep chugging away! Best of luck to you and thanks for the tip! I know I dont have nearly enough fluid I should be!
  3. Thoughts and prayers for you to get well as quickly as possible!!
  4. When I tried Icecream I dont think my body liked it at all!! I got such a tummy ache and didnt feel well... I think too I hadnt had anything like that in so long that when that was the first naughty thing I had it hit me hard... I have had a few bites of icecream since with no issue...
  5. I agree that its easy to make mistakes, I too struggle with the emotional eating.. I think the important thing here is that you pick yourself up and continue on... We are all humans and I know for me I make plenty of mistakes, but I have to take the good with the bad and keep moving forward the best I can... because this is lifestyle change.. its not easy, but like anything else... we gotta accept it brush it off and continue on...
  6. I dont have a problem telling when I feel full, almost like a knot... I make sure not to over do it, but like others have said certain foods will make me feel funny and I know I didnt over eat, that is probley not agreeing with me for one reason or another...
  7. Congratulations!! You look wonderful
  8. I know how you feel, that was such a rought time for me! Your right with having to be around your family who needs to go on normally eating it is so rough... I was allowed a tiny bit of food, but wow it was such a tease and seemed to of made me even more hungary for food.... I would try and leave the room and try to keep busy doing other things and drink alot.. I also made alot of stuff I didnt care for haha
  9. Sorry your down, Im sure its not what you wanted to hear, but the good thing is it doesnt mean you cant have it.. Get the list of what you need to do to be approved for the surgery.. While your doing your 6 months, See if you need support group visits or physcologist, nutritionist and all other appts.. My Dr. Office was great and and as soon I was cleared from everyone , they sent it all to the insurance company and booked the date, and I didnt have to wait longfor a date which was nice.. It does go by fast.. Just have them tell you everything expected right off so you can work on all aspects while you wait.. Goodluck!
  10. Great Idea~
  11. I have the same issues, it bothers me alot that my upper arms are so heavy.. I dont wear tank tops or anything revealing, and I must say I really hope I can one day feel comfortable and secure with the way I look to wear what I want also.
