Energy

My surgery was November 17th... Oh man, I'm so tired. Takes so much energy to do anything these days. I feel so exhausted and worn out from a simple shower and getting around. Do most experience this... When does the energy start to come back?

When I was on the liquid only stage I was soooo tired. Now that I can have soups and mushy food the higher calories seem to help alot. I get about 600-900 calories a day.

I have been taking a 1000mcg b12 sublingual every other day. I believe that is helping my energy.

How many calories are you intaking each day? My surgery was on the 15th and I have TONS of energy! I'm taking in between 500-700 calories a day! I am trying to get more in but I'm finding it hard to balance it with my water intake also! Are you taking a vitamin?

Omgosh how I can relate to you...I started feeling better day 14, but to be honest my energy has barely come back 3 months later. And that's because I'm able to drink my protein shakes again and eat more. Everyone is different. I've read where some people go shopping after surgery, go figure.
