I can't begin to tell you guys how happy I am with the sleeve and what a difference it has made in my life. It's just beginning to dawn on me that this is really happening and that I don't have to worry that I'll gain it all back or do something that will make the scale gods unhappy with me.

I really really am so excited for my future -- I just can't believe it -- I feel like I have to pinch myself!! :D

Thank you all for your support -- even though I haven't said it enough, you guys are the best!

How exciting! I'm very happy for you! I know how happy you are too cause I had the same thing happen to me . . . my first 7 weeks i lost 53 lbs and i couldn't have been happier! Congratulations and keep doing what your doing cause it'll all be well worth it in the end. . .right now at almost 1 year out i live a very very "normal" life. . .i eat whatever (in small amounts of course) I snack and have alcoholic beverages without any quilty feelings. . i drink sodas (defizzed of course) and i'm just enjoying life at this time. . .

WOW! That's impressive. My surgery date was 08/23/10 and my weight was 229.1. I currently weigh 194.2 so since I had my surgery I've lost 35lbs. What are you doing to be so successful? I plateaued at 207 for 4 weeks.

Thanks for sharing...

I really am doing just the basics -- I eat until my stomach says stop (it's usually a slight nauseous feeling) -- I drink 64 oz. of Water a day -- and I walk my doggies a lot.

I do eat a lot of Protein first -- I'm trying to combine more veggies in my eating but sometimes I get full before I eat many veggies.

I did a video for YouTube where you can see my before and "during" pics -- I really am just very overwhelmed with how the sleeve is working. crazy. Here's the link to the video:

Thanks guys for all your support, you really don't know how much it means to me :)

I am so happy for you. I am having my surgery on November 10th and I am going crazy with anticipation. I adore hearing how the surgery has been a success for everyone both physically and mentally.

Ok I have a question...how in God's name are you drinking 64 oz. of Water a day???? I used to be able to do that and more in a day, now I'm lucky if I get 16 oz. of water in a day, seriously. The 30 min. wait after eating totally messes that up for me :(

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
