Dear lap-band,

I miss beer. That is all. Thanks for listening.

lol too funny

I feel that way about soda. There are some days I could go for a big cold glass of Pepsi

Today was the first day I thought a diet Pepsi sounded nice. Oh so nice. There is one sitting in the fridge too. I'm a pansy when it comes to pain and I've heard the bubbles hurt so I'm afraid to try it and that's probly a good thing. They aren't good for us anyway!!!

We have assorted free drinks at work. Just kills me some days to hear a coworker pop open a soda. Especially if I think it's a Dr Pepper. Sigh....

I know the no soda is so hard and beer too.

It's just right now that it's bothering me. The fall brings Sam Adams Octoberfest and this is my Guinness time of year :-/

I still have dreams at night where I drink a nice cold Diet Coke.

Oh man, an ice cold Blue Moon with extra orange...mmmmmmmmmmmmm

I know a girl that still drinks cokes and won't listen to me about the stories I've heard... Not good at all.

IMHO a light beer or sugar free soda pop from time to time won't hurt. I'm not about torture!

I've only had a couple of occasions when I feel like that, and I took a sip of my hubs beer and that satisfied it. Then afterwards it was like, yeah I don't need that anymore. Now, margaritas.....that's a whole different story and I don't go there cuz I could simply drown in one of those and be a happy little girl. ! ! :P

If you see B-52's pic, I think that bottle in his hand is a Bud Light Platinum!

My surgeon said I can still have soda and beer post-op as long as it's comfortable and recommends letting it sit a few moments after opening to release some of the carbonation.
