Shoulder pain after big bite

Hi all,

Does anyone else get that shoulder pain in the left shoulder? Same place I had the pain after my surgery. I often find if I take too big a bite or if I'm getting full I get that horrible pain in my shoulder. eek!

I do! If I eat just one bite too much, my left shoulder hurts. I read some where that it is where the band is on a nerve and when you overeat it causes it to put pressure on that nerve. It is enough to make me not want to eat too much!

I am 4 years out and I still get pain in the back of my shoulder if I eat too much. Try walking and moving around. I also take gas-x when this happens.

It is your signal you are full. Its the band pressing on the nerve.

I'm only two weeks out, and I'm already there! Pain in my left shoulder after only a tiny bit of food. I guess that pain is going to become my friend. Or...at least I'll try & see it that way <_<

Man I hate that pain. Bane of my existence.

At nine months I still get that pain from time to time and its usually within the first few bites of my meal, I just stop and walk around a bit and it settles then I can continue with my meal.
