Mine is tilted but not flipped. What does your doctor say to do?

I've been reading various posts by newly banded people, whose ports are flipped, tube is kinked, etc. This all makes me very nervous. How does this s-hit happen, when they're supposed to stitch the port to the muscle? I really hope that I didn't buy into something that is going to drain me financially :o

Please keep us posted on the outcome of this. It's very unsettling.....

How did he know that it was flipped, did you go in for a fill? I just had surgery on the 5th so hearing this really concerns me.

He said it needs to be surgically repaired.

It depends on ur insurance most cases yes its covered its just a repair gudluck

From what I have read insurance will cover this

But (knock on wood) I have never had any issues thus far
