Today is day 7 of my pre-op....wow! After today I will be on the downhill slope! I am down 10lbs, this weekend was really hard was out of town at a baseball tourney. Determination is all it takes I have made my mind that food will always be there and this is the time I am going to beat it!

Good luck to all scheduled this week and happy healing to those that are banded!

Congrats! Sounds good so far, just keep moving and drinking that water!

I am just 9 days away! This is the slowest roller coaster hill ever, but it's exciting still!

Mine is March 21st, I am so excited that I am encouraging my sisters to do also. I have been researching the surgery over the past year and finally made my mind up to go through with it. Hope you surgery went well..Best of LUCK!!!

I am now on my 4th day post-op. I must say the weekend was pretty rough but today I woke up and feel almost normal again.lol. I can barely drink 2-4oz an hour. Still not even hungry. My gas pain is now all gone and no nausea. I am now looking forward to what the future holds and still SUPER excited!!! I start back to work tomorrow so will be interesting to see how that goes. :D

I finally, FINALLY got the approval from the insurance company - they are allowed 30 days to reply - I swear it was 29.5 days until they approved!

I am scheduled for 21 March for my surgery..... both excited and nervous....

Hi cullychick n thanks for your support. :)

No problem...that's what we're all here for!!

Well....12 hours and I will be in surgery. Is this normal that I am not freaking out???

trust me cullychick, it comes quick but it wasn't near as bad as I expected. Where are you having yours done? :)

dearlh mine is being done in Bloomington, IL. I actually am a nurse and work with my surgeon. He is wonderful! Maybe that is why I'm not so nervous BUT this is my first surgery EVER and my first hospital stay EVER!!!

So u get the employee discount then! :) You'll do just fine. I'm sure they will take extra good care of one of their own!! keep us posted tomorrow as u feel up to it. good luck :)
