Thanks so much! Everyone has been so inspiring. ???„

I love reading all the positive comments that everyone says. It's inspiring. I had to do my sleep study last night at home and have another night tonight. I looked like a big dork with that head gear on! ha ha. I start my pre op protein drinks tomorrow. It's going to be a test of will for sure! But I know it will be worth it. I'm so glad I found all of you on here! Thanks for sharing your lives!

Oh my gosh - here I am on day 3 of the liquid hell. My surgeon require 14 days of Optifast. First two days were horrible. Today, not so bad. But maybe I am just resigning myself to it. March 18th cannot come quick enough.

Every day it gets easier. I know it seems as if it would get harder but it actually doesn't. The first day was the worst, by the 4th day I was ok. Stick with it!

My surgery is March 7th ill let you know' date=' good luck![/quote']

I think it's different for everyone. By day three I was off all pain meds( including Tylenol) but I was still tired. I was a bit sore, but not bad. I suggest napping when your baby does and keep a supply of entertaining videos on hand. Depending on your weather, walks outside also help. Good luck! I was banded 2/19 and I feel wonderful!

This is my Day 3 (surgery was on Monday) and I am still pretty sore in my abs around my incisions and also in my shoulder and around my diaphragm (the muscle you use to breathe). My back is also sore from a lot of time in bed I think. I have tried to be up and about as much as possible and actually walked 30 min on the treadmill today - walked very slowly, but I did it!

If anyone finds a magic cure for the gas pain please do let me know! My husband is picking me up some gas-x tonight so hopefully that will help. It's just miserable.

I'm also having trouble drinking enough. I feel full so fast and I don't want to push things but I'm having trouble hitting the 6 cup minimum my doc recommends for liquids. A challenge!

Today i had to start my liquid diet' date=' i have to do liquid all day with one meal and then starting the 18th i go liquid all day till surgery! Today was..interesting! I was really excited last night to get started, the protein drinks arent to bad (better get used to them i guess!) My surgeon is having me do the month long liquid because of my starting size. I will be around on here as often as possible! Here to listen and help as i can! Hoping the month of February flies by, im so excited to start slimming down and feeling good![/quote']
