MsRhonda, you were recently banded and it takes many weeks for the port site to feel comfortable. You may need to find other positions to sleep in for a few more weeks until that is healed more. I had to put a thin pillow under the side of my tummy and sleep on my side for a while. However, if you are unsure or it's more than discomfort, you may want to consult your doctor's office.

MsRhonda... how about a bigger pillow on either side so you can't roll over? I will interested in seeing what the doc has to say. Hang in there, you are doing great so far!

Are you waiting an hour after eating before you lay down?

I agree with Chez, use a couple pillows around you so you can't roll over.

I get the shoulder pain, but only when I push an extra bite of food. That pain is my soft stop.

Glad you're seeing Dr soon. Keep us posted.

I used to be a stomach sleeper. (could not sleep any other way) I feel like I am soffocating when I sleep on my stomach now. Can't do it. Not sure if it is the band or the inferno hot flashes but I have gotten used to sleeping on my back or side now.
