Surgery done...food questions

Hello!

I am one week post-op and still have one more week on the liquid diet. This is going really well so far. The next step is pureed foods. Is this what you all refer to as mushies? Or is mushies something else? Can you give me a few ideas as what you ate after your all liquid diet? Just want to get prepared for what is coming next.

Thanks!!

Are you on the clear liquids or thicker liquids? Mushies is the third stage before solids.

First week of mushy I could have yogurt cottage cheese or ricotta cheese second week included canned chicken or tuna

I didn't have to do clear liquids at all. Just liquids in general then mushies. In the mushy stage I ate mashed sweet potatoes, cottage cheese, fat free turkey chili (approved by my surgeon)
