  1. i was having a hard time with the time between bites.. i picked up a free metronome app and it has been very helpful
  2. remember you should try for 1 - 2 lbs a week anything on top of that is bonus
  3. Omg only drink it at your own risk. I had some that was flat...oh the shoulder pain was worse than after surgery. i only had a few sips...never again ..it hurt so bad.

  5. I too am in the recent promotion bunch into a high stress and demanding jjob (you know everything is on fire all of the time) one week after i can back from my loa for band placement... You need to prepare prepare prepare. i keep helthy high protien food in the fridge and freezer. i kept Protein Bars everywhere.. i keep Water bottles that i drank and dried filled with one portion of powdered Protein mix.. gallons of water under my desk along with my tennis shoes and a bunch of sock... prepare yourself to be successful put reminders in outlook or your phone every 4 hours that say...have i eaten, make a good choice

  7. they always have a heck of a time putting ivs in due to my weight..i just twll them to use the veins at the top of my hand
  8. if anyone is using it for pain management you can switch to topicala ..same pain relief no muchies

  10. sorry.. im was banded in January...but in my 35 years of dieting has taught me that you need to dust yourself off and start again...not tomorrow but the nedt time you pit somethimg in your mouth...really think about and i hungry or am i boare..stressed figure out if you are attaching you emotions to your mouth

  14. any way you can get to a store or vitamin shop to pick up portable protien shots? i would recomend u stick to liquids for the first day or so and let the guide know that you are having issues. they are there to help
  15. i might just be weird..but i am gratefull for those type pf posts. You can catch a problem early if you know what too look for... and most will tell you what to watch out for ...what might be a rd flag... That being said..I only receive the emails and i can pick and choose what to read

  18. When yiu fill out your profile it makes it easier for us to respond to your questions..Are you pre op or post op? If post op how far along..have you had any fills. Whenwas your last fill...all of this matter when answering your questions.
  19. Depends on when you were banded. I would recomend foucusing on protein first....remeber this is not a diet..its a lifestyle
  20. Im a stomach sleeper. The first month or so it was uncomfortable, but now do it all yhe time with no problem. The big thing is to watch your bite size, eat slow and chew to mush. When I got my second fill I tried to go back to business as usual and the band said no way
  21. I'm pretty much an open book with everyone at work and in the world. It makes my life so mucb easier. I dont worry about who knows and who doeent and how they found out.
  22. Mine is reviewed ever 6 Weeks....but on liquid for a week after fill ugh
  23. Not in greenzone yet have 4cc in a 10 cc band. I try to only eat I cup max then water water water if I am still hungry then I have 1/2 more. Part of the challenge is eating the right sized bites and quality food. Surgery 1/10 first fill 3/07 next fill 04/17
