First fill

Just got my first fill today and right above where the insertion was I have a huge bruise... Is that normal?

Some doctors push hard on the port so that it doesn't move around and that can cause some bruising.

I was bruised for 2wks with first fill. 2nd fill I was poked 10 times and very little bruising. Go figure!

Hey all I had my first fill Tuesday 6pm i stayed on liquid till 6pm yesterday and what now mushies or pure liquid?

After a fill, I usually have been told to go 24-48 hours on liquids. And then you will be fine on normal foods again, just be extra careful and find out your limit!
