Hello folks I'm 9 days post op and have and diarrhea everyday. Has anyone had this, what did you do, how long did it last? I go to the Dr. On Tuesday.

    Not unusual if you are still on liquids. liquid in, liquid out. If it continues then I would call your doctor.

  • Per my dr instructiin I added Benefiber to hot tea and problem solved. Maybe ask yours....

I was prescribed antibiotic to take after surgery. It caused diarrhea. Stopped once I finished the antibiotics.

yes, i had this and my dr okay'd me to use imodium ad but also had me start a probiotic to help calm things down...i still open a capsule and put in my protein shake every morning...aj is right, fluids in and so fluids must come out....please stay hydrated by sipping constantly...it will get better :)
