I have beening trying to get my bowels to "move" all week! Monday I took 4 mom pills. Nothing, maybe a little. 2 more mom pills on Thursday, nothing. Will straining and pushing hurt my pouch? Help!!

I take those fiber gummies each day and that helps. Also, make sure you're drinking enough water.

Try Miralax it worked for me.

Straining is not good for you whether you are banded or not.

Your profile says you are pre-surgery but your post says you are worried about hurting your pouch so it is not possible to know exactly how far post-op you are. If you are still on liquids or mushies then it might just be a case of nothing out, nothing out.

Make sure you are getting plenty of natural fibre, Water and exercise.

If really worried, contact your doctor.

Good luck

Warm prune juice would make me puke long before it would make me poop!
