Not hungry

I'm having difficulty eating enough because I have no appetite at all!! I'm only getting 250-600 calories a day and have had so much gas pan! I've been walking around a lot and taking gas-x strips and taking my pain meds as needed. How are people getting in their calories with no appetite?

What day post op are you? I'm 8 days and am just starting to get an appetite. I haven't eaten over 500 calories since December 12th

It will come, just stay hydrated.

Try syntrax nectar fruity flavored protein you can add to water or crystal light. You must sip fluids anyway, so this way you are sneaking in protein!

This is only day 4. Thank you for the suggestions!

The most important thing right now is stay hydrated. Sip Water all day long, the appetite will come back (with a vengeance). You are still healing so don't worry about calories or weight loss. Sip your liquids and you'll do fine.

Good luck.

As the otherrs have said right now just drink drink drink.... The first week if too had trouble getting in my calories....it gets better...I promise.

You should fill in your profile so we know you better?
