What the.....!

I weighed on Sunday. 339 lbs (40 lbs lost)

I weighed this morning - gained 10 lbs. I have been watching my calorie and fat consumption and over the last four days average calorie - 970 average fat 29 grams. How is a ten pound gain even possible over for days? I hate my body right now.

I weigh once a week. It will drive you crazy if you get on the scales every few days. Just stick to the plan....protein, water, vitamins, exercise and change ;)

Try not to get frustrated. You can show a gain in weight from Water retention, for bowel back up, if you consumed anything prior to weighting, clothing, ect. There are a lot of reasons the scale will show a gain when you really haven't gained.

I know it's hard not to flip out because Lord knows I have a few times, but likely it's not a true gain.

If you don't, it is always best to weight fist thing in the morning after going potty and in your birthday suit. I do this and chart my weight each day and mine can range several pounds from day to day depend on salt in take (water rention), if I have popped or not, if I have a cold, the time of the month, the moon (kidding here, but you get my drift.)

There are so many reasons for the fluctuation...the batteries on you scale may need to be replaced, you ate some salty foods and you are retaining fluid.... You aren't drinking enough liquid.... Try not to stress... Just keep sticking to your plan....it will come off.

I agree with all the above posters. You're sticking to plan so don't be hard on yourself.

My husband got weighed the other day before his shower, took shower weighed and gained 4 lbs. It doesn't make sense.

Make sure your drinking your 64 oz of Water, its important. Watch sodium, eat your Protein.

I weight every morning right after the bathroom I don't want to miss the one day that the scale goes down. then I put it on my calendar so I can see the patern its amazing how it goes up and down fro day to day. I know I eat right now so I know it will go down its just a matter or what day in which week...keep tracking and working forward it will happen.

Weigh in weekly and take what your get. This week alone I gained 3 pounds one morning and had lost 4 by the next day. No panic if you know you are following the rules, the weight will come done.

I gained three pounds overnight too but am not worried about it as I know exactly what it is. Last night I had a little bit of eggplant dip and it tasted very salty considering I have hardly any salt anymore. Normally I'm up at least three times a night to go to the bathroom and I didn't get up once last night. So the salt in the dip caused some retention.

As long as you're doing all the right things as others have said its only a temporary gain.
