how long did you guys take off from work to recover?

I had 10 days off; definitely needed at least 7 full days to rest/recover ~ good luck

Surgery was on a Thursday.... I have a desk job. Went back on tues for 1/2 day and again on Wednesday. Back full time on Thursday But it was 2 full weeks until I felt normal.

i had surgery on a wed and then ended up taking the entire next week off. so 8 days total and i am glad i did. hope this helps (ps, i work at a desk job).

Surgery on Tuesday returned to a desk job following Monday.

I own my business and am fortunate to take 9 WEEKS off after surgery (way overkill, but that's just how it worked out). I was miserable for the first four or five days after surgery but I could have gone back to most any job after ten days.

Went back on day 5. First day was rough but it's been okay since. I have a a lot of help though and only work 4-5 hours at a time.

I had my surgery December 17 (Monday) and I feel great I'm going in today to do some work (desk job) but I'm not going to over do it.

Im so happy for you, but jealous...I had mine on Monday, and I feel so much gas pain!!
