HI Everyone
I am newly banded (3 weeks out) and am now allowed mushy foods. My nutritionist gave me a ton of information on what I could eat with regards to this, HOWEVER I admittedly did not read thoroughly and I had some refried Beans (low fat), I did NOT have any issues and it was rather tasty for a change
.
Today I was re reading the nutrionist information again today and it is written specifically DO NOT EAT BEANS. My dad had gastric bypass and this was some mushy food he ate so got the idea from him, also i see several others on forum that eat these as well.
Just wondering if someone else was given this direction and why? I didn't mean not to follow the direction just wasn't careful enough. Thanks for your thoughts.
