Im having my surgery 6 am Monday, and my Mother just informed me that she won't be offering me any kind of support whatsoever because she disagrees with the surgery because she thinks it's too risky, and that I could lose weight on my own. Sorry you're going through this, but I'm sure she'll come around when she see's you getting healthier. If you're like most of us, yes we can lose the weight on our own, we just can't keep it off and yoyo dieting is very bad on your health.

my husband started a huge fight with me a week before surgery,and i ended up not speaking to him all week and i was so stressed out the whole week because of it...until i realized i needed to take care of myself,isnt that why you are getting the surgery in the first place? in other words...f**k everyone and just worry about yourself right now.

i know thats easier said than done,but trust me,you will have enough to think about and worry about after surgery,that you dont need to add worrying about everyone else!
