Congrats and best wishes. Stay positive and follow the doctor's instructions!

I was banded Monday. Pain is much better today. Take it easy and little walks help a lot. Especially with the gas pain. Small sips and don't rush your fluids!! I found sleeping propped up helps. Laying flat hurt!! And cover your belly with a pillow when sitting. I found it helped me when my kids were sitting with me.

I was also banded Monday and totally agree... Small walks, pillows, and sleeping propped up has helped a lot! I have had horrible gas pain in my shoulder and using gas x strips does help some, I'm looking forward to feeling normal again, its hard with a 10 month old but thank god for my very helpful Hubby! Two things I am struggling with are what to eat and what protein/vitamins to start incorporating, suggestions welcome!

I was banded a week ago 11/7, and believe me, it will get better! That pain in your chest and shoulder will go away, but walk as much as you can! We have a ranch and I walked from the house to the gate (about 100 yards or so) and I would do that 2 or 3 times a day.

Jello, broth and diluted fruit juice, and Water of course.

Good luck!
